About Me
Bill Fink’s writing and photography has appeared in over 30 different publications, including newspapers, magazines, websites, guidebooks, and travel anthologies.
He has covered topics ranging from five star vacation villas in Tuscany, to trash dump volleyball in Burma, eating squid at a ballgame in Japan and chasing dolphins and a magic squirrel in the Philippines.
Some credits include the San Francisco Chronicle, where he’s a regular contributor, as well as Islands Magazine, San Diego Magazine, AFAR Magazine, Coast Magazine, American Way, the Chicago Sun Times, as well as books from Frommer’s, Lonely Planet, and Travelers Tales, websites like travelmuse.com, triporati.com, globorati.com, and some weird hitchhiking newsletter made by a dude in his basement in England.
Bill has appeared on a talk show in the Philippines, a news interview program in Albania, on the radio in San Francisco, and for some strange reason in the corner of a Nike print ad.
When he’s not moving around, he lives in the San Francisco area, near an airport. Email him at billfink2004@yahoo.com
